LICENSING

  1. Whether commissioning Scott to write custom arrangements or purchasing Scott’s previously performed custom arrangements, the purchasing director must secure “permission to arrange” from the copyright holder of each piece. These may be secured through Tresona Music Licensing, or the licensing company of your choice.

  2. If applying for permission with Tresona, they will contact Scott directly as the approval process proceeds. When the approved permissions are paid by the director, Scott will be notified by Tresona directly. At that point, Scott will upload the arrangement(s) to the Tresona site, and they will forward to you.

  3. If applying for permission with another different licensing company, or directly from the copyright holder(s), the director must forward the permission document(s) to Scott when completed, and then Scott will send the arrangement(s) to the director.
